Pre –requisites:

For skiers who have either attained BASI, CSIA, APSI,PSIA level 2, Swedish level 2/3 and Swiss Snowsport Level 1 or similar.

Typical Training Day:

(5 hour day on snow)

  • 9 am Start
  • 12 pm Lunch
  • 3 pm Finish (personal video feedback/ video analysis sessions after skiing)

Training days will be spent working on the performance strands required to pass the ISIA level. These include Piste Performance (short & long turns) Bumps, Steeps, Variable and Off Piste.

A typical day on the hill might include piste performance work in the morning and then moving into some steeper terrain where snow conditions might be variable in the afternoon. Within all these training sessions, we will not only try to help you improve as a skier but also help you develop your understanding of the sport. This will then help both coach and student to understand, achieve and progress as quickly as possible through personnel goals that have been set.

Working for Pure Ski Verbier:

When not training, the work side to our program is very unique compared to other programs by other schools. This is because all those involved in the training program are the people that represent the school by being its instructors during working periods. Pure Ski Verbier is part of a very successful conglomerate of ski schools in Verbier, so when asked to represent the school, we will be expecting the highest level of professionalism and customer care.
